A traditional master plant dieta held in the Amazon with an experienced Shipibo maestro, creating space for ceremony, plant work, learning, rest, and deep personal reflection.
Apply for the Master Plant DietaA master plant dieta is more than attending Ayahuasca ceremonies. It is a period of intentional relationship with a master plant.
For fifteen days, everyday life becomes simpler. Your time is shaped by your plant dieta, Ayahuasca ceremony, traditional plant work, teaching, rest, and periods of quiet.
The simplicity matters. With fewer distractions around you, there is more room to notice what is happening within you and to spend time with what might normally be easy to avoid.
During the dieta, you will work closely with a master plant. Some people arrive already feeling deeply drawn toward a particular plant. Others discover which plant they will diet through conversation and guidance with the maestro.
Plants worked with within the lineage may include:

Each day includes approximately two hours with the maestro learning about Shipibo lineage, master plants, dieta, ceremony, and the traditions surrounding the work you are participating in.
You are not simply coming to experience the medicine. Time is made to understand the tradition that holds the work.
Ayahuasca ceremony takes place approximately every other night throughout the dieta, usually creating five to seven ceremonies across the fifteen days.
Ceremony is held with the Shipibo maestro and traditional ícaros. The days between ceremonies give you time to rest, reflect, continue your plant dieta, and allow what surfaced the night before to settle.
Not every meaningful part of dieta happens in ceremony.
For fifteen days, you will stay in a simple dieta tambo surrounded by the Amazon.
This is not luxury accommodation. Your tambo gives you a quiet place to sleep, rest, reflect, and have space with yourself between ceremonies, teachings, and plant work.
Life becomes simpler here. That simplicity is part of the dieta.
Stepping away from your usual environment creates distance from the routines, relationships, distractions, and patterns that normally surround you.
No one in the jungle is there to decide which direction your life should take. The space simply gives you an opportunity to notice what you may be ready to close the door on, and what you are willing to choose differently when you return.
Dieta includes ceremony and teaching, yet it also includes hours when nothing is being asked of you.
You can rest. Write. Listen to the jungle. Sit with something that surfaced. Sleep. Think. Spend time alone.
You do not need to turn every quiet moment into another task.
